Het Groene Strand is a unique nature reserve where the sea and land meet. It is a dynamic area that is constantly changing under the influence of the tides.
- Tidal area: This area is strongly influenced by ebb and flow, creating an ever-changing landscape. Ideal for mudflat hiking and exploring the tidal flats. Guided tours are often organised by local guides.
- Birdwatching: Like De Boschplaat, Het Groene Strand is an important area for birds. Bring your binoculars and enjoy the many species to be seen here. In spring and autumn, this is a key stopover for migratory birds.
