Beautiful Dune Valley: The Badhuiskuil lies near West aan Zee and is a wet dune valley with a small pond, surrounded by dunes and abundant nature.
Monument to Victor Westhoff: Close to the viewpoint stands the statue of Prof. Dr. Victor Westhoff (1916–2001), an influential Dutch biologist who conducted groundbreaking research here on rare plant species.
Living Laboratory of Nature: The Badhuiskuil is considered the historical testing ground of Dutch nature restoration. Thanks to restoration work by Staatsbosbeheer in 1989, long‑lost plants such as shoreweed and thread gentian made a strong comeback.

Location: The Badhuiskuil is located along the Badweg, near West Aan Zee. A cycle path runs directly past the viewpoint.
